If you’re reading this blog, we likely share a passion for technology and using it to create positive change. A career in academia for me is a very deliberate choice driven by the ability to pursue important research with real-world impact. My work focuses on autonomous, intelligent, and connected systems – research topics that hold amazing potential to transform society.
I aim to conduct research that pushes these fields forward in responsible ways. My goal is to change the world by leveraging technology to build a brighter future.
Now that I can support PhD and postdoc researchers in these areas, I want to share relevant opportunities. While the deadline has passed for a few previous openings, there are ones that are still open and hopefully new ones are coming soon.
PhD student in cyber-physical systems focusing on robot collaboration
As a PhD student of the Cyber-physical Systems Lab, you will be supported and provided training to become responsible for conducting research, developing innovative algorithms, and implementing practical solutions to address the challenges associated with collaboration in multi-robot systems. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of researchers, industry partners, and stakeholders to push the boundaries of resilient, sustainable, and interoperable cyber-physical systems applications.
Your work will involve integrating different robots, designing data management strategies, developing information exchange mechanisms, designing, and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings in reputable conferences and journals.

Cyber-physical systems, in particular, focus on challenges related to interoperability, sustainability, autonomy, and intelligence [CLOSED]
We are hiring 5 postdocs at the Computer Systems division at Uppsala University!!
All of them are great research topics but if you choose to apply for “Cyber-physical systems, in particular, focus on challenges related to interoperability, sustainability, autonomy, and intelligence” then you will work with me 🙂 So no pressure!
Jokes aside, if you want to change the world and think that the future autonomous and intelligent systems can do that with your help, I am happy to listen to your ideas and support you.
And if it is not you but you know someone who might be interested please share the link with them 😉
