I am so happy to share this with you!

Here, I present my first single-authored article 🙂

This research means a lot to me. It builds on the research findings from many projects that I have spent the last 6-7 years on. This is the first output of my Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship project and it is published in the Journal of Industrial Information Integration which is the top journal in my research field.

The world needs more sustainable systems and we can design them if we come together, listen to each other, use technology and data for good and be playful even when we deal with wicked problems 🙂 The solution is never only data, only AI, only intelligent systems or only robots. The solution lies in us and our understanding of what the world needs. If we use our unique superpowers to address that need and teach future engineers and computer scientists this, I am sure we will be fine.

I am so grateful for the support from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the European CommissionKTH Royal Institute of TechnologyStanford University and University of Cambridge. I especially would like to say thank you to Jennifer Schooling and Martin Edin Grimheden. I cannot possibly say enough about the importance of having incredible leaders like you.
